Swyft Media Co-Founders Recognized on Forbes 2017 List of 30 Under 30
We’re excited to announce that Swyft Media Co-founders Evan Wray and Sean O’Brien have been named to the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2017!
This year the competition was strong with more than 15,000 nominations for just 600 spots. We are thrilled for Evan and Sean on this accomplishment!
It all started in a college dorm room at the University of Notre Dame. During their senior year, Evan and Sean wanted to create an app to show their pride for their alma mater that was specific to the text conversations they were having. That’s when TextPride was born, and was later renamed to Swyft Media.
In February of 2014, Miller Lite hosted its first Miller Lite Tap the Future business plan competition, where entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to entrepreneurs, reporters, influencers and MillerCoors executives. TextPride took home the top prize and Evan and Sean were awarded a sizable business grant to help the company take flight. Over the next year, Evan, Sean and TextPride worked diligently to shape the way brands and advertisers engage with branded mobile content.
Fast forward to a year later, and Swyft Media was acquired by Monotype. Evan, Sean and the growing team at Swyft have continued to help brands and advertisers get in front of their consumers with branded content.
Swyft Media provides major brands, movie studios and professional sports teams, among others, with an easy, effective and impactful way to get their brand into the explosive mobile messaging space – by creating and placing branded content that is designed to engage and influence consumers and entice them to share with friends.
