Swyft Partners with Google to Offer Branded Sticker Packs for Gboard for Android
There’s no question that mobile messaging apps are an incredibly effective way for brands to engage with consumers. With more than three billion people using mobile messaging around the world, these apps are natural places for brands to engage with their key audiences. That’s why we’re excited to announce that Swyft Media has partnered with Google to integrate branded digital stickers on Gboard for Android. Gboard is one of the most popular keyboards for a wide variety of mobile messaging apps, and allows users to search and send information, GIFs, emojis and more, all within the keyboard.
Swyft is one of the first partners to provide branded stickers within Gboard, and brands can now leverage Swyft’s Mobile Engagement Platform to distribute their content to the millions of people that use Gboard with their favorite mobile messaging app.
Swyft is offering sticker packs from brands that include Backstreet Boys®, Hello Kitty®, Peanuts® and Illumination’s Despicable Me 3, with more to come soon. You can see Swyft’s sticker packs for Gboard in the Google Play Store, here.
Evan Wray, co-founder and vice president of Swyft Media, said, “Branded content like emoji and GIFs have become such an important part of everyday conversation for younger generations that leaders like Google are now making them an integrated part of the mobile experience. This offers an incredible opportunity for brands to engage with consumers in a way that feels comfortable and natural – and in many cases is displacing traditional advertising approaches. We’re thrilled to be working with Google to create a more seamless way to make these branded assets a part of the mobile messaging experience.”
Through the Swyft Mobile Engagement Platform, brands can push their content to keyboard and messaging apps to engage and empower advocates, and they’ll also be able to measure campaign performance, engagement and analytics to better understand what content is resonating most with key audiences.
We are excited about this new partnership and we look forward to adding new sticker packs soon. Follow us on Twitter @SwyftMedia for updates.
