Swyft Media Helps Brands Reach Millions Through iMessage
Over the past few years, mobile messaging apps have proven to be an extremely effective way to engage with consumers. According to a recent BI Intelligence report, messaging apps are bigger than social networks with the top four chat apps weighing in at nearly three billion users and exceeding the top four social media platforms. It is no surprise that Apple is joining the party and launching an App Store for iMessage with the upgrade to iOS 10, which will allow third parties to provide branded content to iOS users. Swyft Media is one of the first partners to support the App store for iMessage. With this, Swyft is enabling brands to reach millions of consumers with branded emoji, digital stickers and GIFs where they are spending the majority of their time – in one of the world’s most popular mobile messaging apps.
Evan Wray, co-founder and vice president of Swyft Media, said, “The mobile messaging space is a potential goldmine for brands looking to reach young consumers in a way that makes a lasting impact through both engagement and brand loyalty. Apple’s decision to open up its hugely popular iMessage application is validation that this growing medium has become an increasingly important part of our culture – and a great avenue for brands to engage consumers at scale in a way that doesn’t feel forced. We believe Apple’s new approach will create tremendous opportunity for brands to quickly take advantage of the reach that mobile messaging apps can deliver.”
Swyft is launching with close to 100 digital sticker and emoji packs on behalf of The Backstreet Boys®, Peanuts®, Sausage Party, the New York Rangers™, the Dallas Mavericks, Virginia Tech®, UCLA® and the University of Utah®, among others.
You can find all of the branded content Swyft offers in the Swyft Media App Store for iMessage.
